Terms of Service
Last updated: July 23, 2026
Introduction
Welcome to Pierceable (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of pierceable.com and all of its piercing calculators, guides, and related features (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Acceptance and Changes
By accessing or using Pierceable, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of them. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after a change means you accept the current version.
Educational Estimates, Not Medical Advice
The Service exists to give general, educational estimates. The gauge-conversion, jewelry-sizing, healing-time, stretching, aftercare, and ring-diameter calculators apply standard piercing conventions to the numbers you enter; their results are planning aids, not personalised medical guidance, and not a promise of any outcome. Pierceable is not a piercer, a studio, or a medical provider. For anything that affects the health of your piercing or your body — an infection, a reaction, a piercing that will not heal, or a decision to stretch — rely on your piercer or a qualified healthcare professional rather than this Service.
What the Service Provides
Pierceable offers, free of charge:
- A gauge size converter (gauge ↔ millimetres ↔ inches)
- A jewelry size calculator for barbell and labret fit
- A piercing healing-time estimator
- A gauge stretching planner
- An aftercare schedule builder, and a ring diameter calculator
- Educational guides, a Learn section, and an illustrated Body Adornment Museum
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
Your Responsibilities
When you use the Service, you agree to:
- Use the tools in good faith for your own personal piercing planning
- Enter accurate figures, and check the gauge, length, date, and piercing-type fields before relying on a result
- Take responsibility for your piercing, sizing, and stretching decisions, and confirm anything material with your piercer or a healthcare professional
- Not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service
- Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others’ rights
Assumption of Risk
Piercing, downsizing, stretching, and aftercare carry real physical risks, including infection, irritation, rejection, and scarring. You use the information on this Service at your own risk and remain solely responsible for deciding whether a given piercing, size change, or aftercare routine is right for you. Always confirm anything that affects your health with your piercer or a qualified healthcare professional over anything here.
No Warranty
The Service is provided “as is.” While we aim for accuracy, we make no warranties, express or implied, that calculations are error-free or fit for your particular purpose, and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pierceable and its suppliers will not be liable for any damages — including any injury, infection, scarring, or other harm — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
Intellectual Property
The site’s original text, design, and calculator code are the property of Pierceable and protected by copyright. Museum and Learn material sourced from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons remains under its original licenses. You may use the tools for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy or repurpose the site’s materials for commercial use without permission.
Third-Party Links and Advertising
The Service may link to third-party sites and displays advertising through networks such as Google AdSense. We do not control or endorse third-party content, and using any linked site or advertised product is at your own risk.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction for any dispute.
